The Samurai Museum Berlin, which opened its doors on May 8th, 2022, is a fascinating new cultural destination showcasing over 1,000 artifacts from the private collection of German entrepreneur Peter Janssen. The museum's interactive exhibits feature an impressive array of samurai weapons and armor, tea sets, woodblock prints, and Buddhist sculptures, offering a deep dive into the history and art of Japan’s warrior culture. I had the honor of photographing the grand opening, capturing the excitement and unique atmosphere of this remarkable museum.
